You’re reading the first pages of our journal — welcome. Notes From the Frontier is CJSP Creative’s space to share the story behind the work.

Why the name? Because “the frontier” is where we’ve always lived. Music that doesn’t fit radio formats. Books that don’t follow genre rules. Projects that mix play and prayer, laughter and lament, code and chorus. That’s where CJSP belongs: at the edge of what’s known, taking notes as we go.

This blog isn’t just release announcements (though you’ll see those too). It’s a record of the process: the false starts, the breakthroughs, the nights when an idea won’t let us sleep. It’s where we reflect on what it means to build a label and publishing house from scratch, and why we keep going even when the numbers don’t look glamorous.
